Ruth Angutiqjuaq
CO-TRANSLATOR / INUKTITUT LANGUAGE COACH

Ruth is an Inuktitut Interpreter/translator based in Igloolik, Nunavut.  Currently, Ruth is an Inuktitut instructor for N.T.E.P. students at Nunavut Arctic College in Igloolik, having previously worked at Nunavut Arctic College in Iqaluit. She works closely with Inuit Elders in Igloolik and across Nunavut. For Volcano, Ruth has been working as one of the translators of Inuktitut Waiting for Godot, as well as the Inuktitut typist for the complete draft (fluent in both roman orthography and syllabics). Ruth has also toured Nunavut with the group as an Interpreter.
