Rose Genele

Rose is a classically trained soprano, creative, and entrepreneur with over a decade of experience in operations. She has mastered the art of balancing strategy with execution, and brings those skills to her revenue operations and transformation consultancy, The Opening Door.

A dynamic leader, with a proven track record in operational optimization, and strategic growth within technology, and social enterprise sectors, Rose is skilled in developing and executing strategies. She leverages data to manage complex projects, streamline processes, and foster collaboration. Rose is also an artificial intelligence ethics and governance researcher and advocate.

Rose is committed to advocacy for a more inclusive and equitable world, and is founder of The New Face of Inclusion, an inclusion and future of work social enterprise.

Rose is an International Society of Sustainability Professionals (ISSP) member and sits on the board of the Canadian Centre for Ethics and Corporate Policy. She is a 2024 nominee for the RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards and Canada’s Top 100 Black Women to Watch. Rose is also an alumnae of Toronto Metropolitan University, with a Bachelor of Commerce in Law and Business.
