Chris Davis, Trumpet

Chris Davis has become a staple in the Chicago trumpet community over the last 20 years and has successfully crossed over many genres including jazz, funk, R&B, gospel, and classical music.  This has been proven in recent years by his work with Barry Manilow, Ron Kenoly, Jennifer Hudson, The Isley Brothers, Steve Harvey, Sigor Ros, and many other performing artists.  Chris has also been heavily featured on national television networks PBS, NBC, TNT & TBS.  He loves teaching as much as he loves performing and has worked as an adjudicator for various festivals including the Iowa Jazz Championships and Illinois Music Educators Association. Chris founded Trumpet Lessons HQ to teach fundamental trumpet lessons to Returning Trumpet Players in retirement.
