Eda Holmes: Physicalizing Text: The Theatrical Body

The workshop will explore various techniques drawn from dance and theatre practice to activate the actors’ physical imagination in relation to a piece of text. The goal is to discover more adventurous yet authentic approaches to more traditional theatrical texts. There will be no established method employed, but rather it will be a collective investigation into the potential of an actors’ body to be radically expressive.
