Pauline Christian
Pauline Christian is the Immediate Past- President of the Black Business and Professional Association (BBPA). She is also the Founder/President/CEO of Best Lifestyle Residence, a retirement home in the county of Simcoe, Ontario. Previous to owning her business, she worked at Bell Canada for over 25 years, mostly in various leadership capacities. She is passionate about using leadership to mobilize, harmonize and develop the Black community and to realize socio-economic improvement and advancement.
She has been recognized as one of Canada’s Top 20 Women in 2010 by Women’s Post Canada as well as one of Canada’s Amazing Women by Women Alive and Maranatha News. She is an honoured member the Worldwide Who’s Who of Executives, Professionals and Entrepreneurs: the Heritage Registry of Who’s Who for Executives and Professionals.
Pauline’s awards stretch across various lines of disciplines within the community, i.e. 2010 Bob Marley Day Award for outstanding contribution to the City of Toronto as a leader and visionary; 2009 African Canadian Achievement Award for Business and Community Work; 2008 Black History Month Celebration Police and Community Award of Excellence for being a positive role model, enriching the lives of those in need; 2006 Gold and Dream “Each One Reach One” Award; and one of Bell Canada’s 5 Heroes in 2004, to name a few.
She sits on many boards, nationally and internationally and is also a motivational speaker who presents on over 20 different tops of which Networking is one of her favorites.
