By combining video with other media the set designers and video artists Momme Hinrichs and Torge Möller primarily want to create multifaceted works of art which do not merely decorate the stage or coexist with it but instead blend various artistic levels.

They developed and realised their ideas in more than hundred productions worldwide, from the initial stage to the final presentation, in close cooperation with directors (e.g. Bernd Eichinger, Doris Dörrrie, Achim Freyer, Andreas Homoki, Stefan Herheim, David Pountney, Philipp Stölzl, Susanne Linke. etc.) and many other artists. They are now also increasingly responsible for designing entire sets.

They directed Verdi “GIOVANNA D’ARCO” at the Opera Bonn with great success in 2014. In addition to the Salzburger, Bayreuther and Bregenzer Festspiele, the two artists have worked at the Staatsoper unter den Linden Berlin, the Deutsche and Komische Oper Berlin, the Wiener Staatsoper, the Theatre an der Wien, the Semperoper Dresden, the Bayrische Staatsoper, the Deutsche Oper am Rhein, the Hamburgische Staatsoper, the Glyndebourne festival, the Teatro Liceu Barcelona, the Opera Oslo, the Opera Copenhagen, L’Opera nationale de Paris and many other european theatres and festivals.

They have also successfully realised projects in North America, Ukraine, Aserbaidschan and India to great critical acclaim: Critics describe their work with attributes ranging from “exciting and beautiful” to “intelligent”, “accomplished” and “brilliant”. “One rarely sees such great video projections”; the artists succeed in “incorporating high quality video-art into the choreographic structure”, says the Hamburger Abendblatt. Die Welt writes: “fettFilm’s video-art deserves extra praise”, and the Bayerischer Rundfunk (Bavarian radio station) portrayed the work at the Bregenzer Festspiele with the following words: “Projections - so perfect and rich in content have not been seen here before. Thus, they have opened a door in the scenic progress of music theatre”.

At the beginning of 2006, Momme Hinrichs and Torge Möller gained a lot of attention with their installation “Signs Fiction”. It was displayed on the mediafaçade “SPOTS” at Potsdamer Platz in Berlin where, among others, artists like Jonathon Monk and Terry Giliam exhibited their work. 2010 till 2015 fettFilm did three show-designs for the tours of the famous german musician Marius-Müller Westernhagen. Resposible for set design and projections on Wagners, Flying Dutchman“ fettFilm won togehter with Mara Kurotschka the Taras Schewtschenko price of the Ukraine in 2014.
