Shoshana Polanco

Shoshana Polanco is a creative producer based in Buenos Aires. Her area of expertise is international collaboration with a focus in Latin America. She has worked for major festivals such as the Cervantino in Mexico, FIBA in Buenos Aires, and TeatroStageFest and Lincoln Center Festival in NYC. As a consultant, she has collaborated with Southern Exposure (Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation), Made in Scotland (Creative Scotland), Music Theatre Now (ITI Germany), Rolex Mentor and Protege Program (Rolex Foundation), and ALIAS (dance company based in Switzerland) among others. In NYC she worked at BAM, PS122, Under the Radar, and The Builders Association. In Mexico, she works for La Teatrería developing new productions and long-term strategies for the company. She recently co-curated ESCENICA, a new performing arts festival in Mexico City. She has been part of INCUBADORA, a new initiative for emerging artists in Buenos Aires, where she follows their creative process and helps them build tools around presenting it.

Shoshana Polanco es una productora creativa que vive en Buenos Aires. Su especialidad es la colaboración internacional con especial enfoque en América Latina. Ha trabajado para el Festival Internacional Cervantino en México, el FIBA -- Festival Internacional de Buenos Aires, y TeatroStageFest y Lincoln Center Festival en Nueva York. Como consultora, ha colaborado con Southern Exposure de la Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation, Made in Scotland de Creative Scotland, Music Theatre Now de ITI Germany, Rolex Mentor and Protege Program de la Fundación Rolex, y la compañía de danza suiza ALIAS. En Nueva York trabajó en BAM, PS122, Under the Radar, y Builders Association. En México, trabaja con La Teatrería desarrollando proyectos y estrategias de largo alcance asi como también para el festival ESCÉNICA, uno de los grandes festivales de la CDMX. Como docente, participa de INCUBADORA, un proyecto de acompañamiento para artistas emergentes.
